"skacher" (noun) is one who geocaches while on skis.
The "skacher" skied back to the parking lot, having found all five geocaches placed along the cross-country ski trail loop.

"Skaching" is what a skacher does in the winter - as in:
Mom went skaching to access the geocaches placed along the groomed XC ski trail open only to those using XC skis.
