8 Month Rule

The time it takes for two people to feel totally comfortable and start acting like their true selves in a relationship. Often times this is the time in which the pair will find out if they are really compatible or it was all just for fun and they were covering up their issues.

"Did you hear that Joe and Cindy broke up?"

"Yeah, totally the 8 month rule, those two were never gonna work, they were just high on the idea, and sex"

"500 mile rule"

When ever you are 500 miles or more from your home and traveling alone without your other half (boyfriend/girlfriend or husband/wife) your actions are your own and you can not be held accountable for them.

Mostly in a sexual way.. murder someone and your sorry ass is still going to jail!!

I was at a conference in Vegas and totally hooked up with a hottie... You mean you cheated??? Nope I was covered under the "500 Mile Rule".. I'm all good.
