Reconservatarian

A political identity/philosophy that consists of some tenements of republicanism (favoring a republic as the best form of government), conservatism (favoring a balanced budget; prefers spending cuts), and libertarianism (socially liberal; limited government; free markets) and some independent views as follows:
a. Regulations: Regulations in moderation should be considered and implemented on a case by case basis to not only ensure public safety but also to prevent businesses and corporations from taking advantage consumers.

b. Taxes: Moderate tax increase can be considered as a last resort for limited time periods when necessary, but new tax increase should never be permanent.

c. Immigration: Taking a holistic approach with pathway to citizenship for otherwise law abiding illegal immigrants and expel criminal elements. Also securing the boarder against all new illegal entries.

Andy: Is Jeff a Conservative or a Libertarian? Because his views never seem to lie squarely in either political ideology.

Recon Armor

An armor in Halo 3 that can only be obtained by impressing Bungie, or making Bungie laugh. Most of the time you see people on Xbox Live who have a boner for Recon, even though it does not change gameplay, or increase your rank or skill level. Also, there has been pics of Recon floating around Xbox Live saying: "Send this to 50 friends and get RECON". There is no doubt this is a hoax. If you've impressed Bungie, and got Recon, I congradulate you, just don't think having Recon makes you better than anyone else.

In a game of Team Slayer, I was sent 5 messages within 3 minutes of the match saying "Send this to 50 friends and get Recon Armor".

Ghost Recon

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon is an excellent game by Ubi Soft depicting a war in the near future. The PS2 version has Desert Seige with it as well. The single player modes can seem a bit lifeless but playing deathmatches against your mates will never lose its fun. It has bucketloads of real weapons and good fun for any gun fanatic. The graphics can be a bit dodgy at times, e.g, watching someone about half a click away with a sniper; the animation isn't very fluid. Overall a great game, but more fun with friends.

I played Ghost Recon with my friend and kicked his ass.

Recon

Multiplayer armor permutation (skin) within Bungie's 2007 Xbox 360 game 'Halo 3.' Originally designed for exclusive Bungie employee use, but has been awarded to those the staff deems worthy. Extremely coveted and seen as an elite status within the game.

Reconquista

1. The term for a war of "re" conquest of the United States, principally by chicanos and mestizos. It's a war fought by means of illegal immigration and resource depletion fueled by massive breeding of children in the target country, obligating local, state and federal social support systems to support the invading force.

2. A covert war fought by a nation of people too chickenshit to fight as open aggressors.
