License plates that predominately or totally feature the American flag, whether in the foreground or background. The name is derived from how, after the attacks on 9/11, there was an explosion of patriotism, leading to the creation of exclamatory American flag plates.

(noun, plural, Brit.) Personalised registration plates on a motor vehicle that suggest to everyone but the owner that the vehicle's occupants are twats, chumps, or under-endowed fuckwits with all the charm and sex appeal of a road accident.
