"Email ping-pong" is the act of email correspondence between two people getting out of hand or control.
It usually starts of with a comment, opinion or observation that becomes misunderstood or misinterpreted by the recipient. The recipient then responds with comment, opinion or observation...and so on. It is not uncommon for participants to ping-pong 10, 20 times or more before they realise they haven't got a clue what started it all in the first place!

The back-and-forth between university professors frequently contained in the scholarly literature. By this point, the arguments have strayed far afield from the reality to which they were once connected.
Professor Phillips's new article, "Medieval Literature and Kantian Philosophy: A Reply to Professor Dempsey" is just more academic ping-pong and not worthy of your time.

Either classic Table Tennis played in the nude, or the same game played like Strip Poker. Each time a player loses a match, they lose a piece of clothing. It is advisable for female participants to choose to keep their bras rather than their panties, as free boobs can severely impediment the game.

a game similar to ping pong the only difference being that whenever a player gains a point the other player must remove their shirt and allow the player who scored to hit the ping pong ball as hard as they can into the other players bare skin. this does not cause any real injury but can be fairly painful. the game can be won either by reaching a predetermined point amount or if the other player is in too much pain to continue.
