Black nationalist movement that is as different from Islam as night is from day. These people are not true Muslims. For example, they don't believe that Muhammad (S) was the last prophet. In fact, their founder Louis Farrakhan is regarded by the NOI as a Prophet. Also, in Islam you are supposed to be tolerant. The NOI hate white people and want segregation. In short and are actually just racist bastards who are not Muslims. They only use the Islamic jargon.
Nation of Islam members should study actual Islam instead of the garbage that Louis Farrakhan introduced. They should follow Malcom X's example.

He mysteriously disappeared in June 1934 and was consequently identified as an incarnation of Allah. Under Elijah Muhammad (1897-1975), Fard's Minister of Islam, and Muhammad's lieutenant Malcolm X (1925-1965), the movement gained international prominence.
The Nation of Islam's declared aim is the raising of the moral, social, and economic standing of non-whites. This has included the vilification of the dominant group, white Caucasians, even to the point of calling whites the personification of evil and maintaining that the white race is an aberration, the human race having originally been black. Therefore, according to this theory, blacks must pursue separate development. By turning racist ideas around to oppose whites, the movement has attracted many adherents and has had particularly good success in converting prisoners, criminals, and drug users. Black Muslims have financed the construction of mosques, schools, apartment complexes, stores, and farms.
Elijah Muhammad taught that American blacks, a group that includes all people of color, were descended from the ancient tribe of Shabazz that had originally settled the holy city of Mecca, and that blacks and whites can share no real community. Malcolm X was his closest collaborator until a quarrel between the two men in 1964. Malcolm X then went on a pilgrimage to Mecca, where he saw people of every race worshiping side by side, and he became convinced of the hopelessness of racism. He returned to the United States and founded the Organization of Afro-American Unity, which preached black nationalism but not black separatism. He was shot and killed while speaking to a large gathering in New York City in 1965. After Elijah Muhammad's death in 1975, his son Warith Deen Muhammad radically transformed the Black Muslim movement, opening it to whites and renaming it the American Muslim Mission. In 1979, Louis Farrakhan broke away from the Mission, establishing the more radical Nation of Islam, which restricts membership to blacks and advocates a separate black social structure.

D-Lo Brown also a member along with Crush, Savio Vega and Ahmed Johnson. The entire Nation was fired by Faarooq. Kept D-Lo, took Kama Mustafa (Later know as the Godfather)and Rocky Maivia (The Rock) after kicking Ahmed Johnson out. Rocky and Faarooq began a power struggle after Rocky Maivia stole Stone Cold Steve Austin's Intercontinental Championship Belt. (Rocky and Austin began the legendary feud that appears in minds even if seen on the same poster) Around the same time, Mark Henry joined in 1998. (interesting facts: a few months before 1997, Rocky Maivia started refering to himself as "The Rock", even on his trunks in bold block letters. and developed "Best damn champ there ever was" phrase. After 1998 began Rocky came up with many catch phrases such as: "People's Champion" "Know your role and shut your mouth," "Layin' the Smack Down," "Jabroni" and "Candy Ass.") Then fueding with Ken Shamrock. Right after WrestleMania 14, Rocky and Faarooq had a fight. After Faarooq called Rocky back to deal with him, Rocky gave a facial signal to the members behind Faarooq. (this facial expression was made extremely famous by Rocky Maivia.) The remaining 3 members began beating him down. After firing Faarooq, Rocky Maivia declaring himself "Ruler" of the newly formed "Nation." Soon adopting (late)Owen Hart. The Nation members took on new character-defining attitudes. (Faarooq went on fighting with Maivia for a few months but later partnered with Bradshaw,now JBL.)The Nation began clashing with D-Generation-X. (Triple H, Chyna, X-Pac, Billy Gunn, Road Dogg) But The Nation lost the War after Rocky Maivia's Intercontinental Championship reign ended at the hands of Triple H (with help from Chyna) The Nation broke up and went it's separate ways. D-Lo and Mark Henry became a tag team, Godfather went on his own road of pimperage and The Rock went on to become the "most electrifying man in sports entertainment" and gain many Championships multiple times. see "The Rock"
