hadoken

Hadoken is first used in the StreetFighter games by Capcom. It's a martial arts move performed by Ken or Ryu which unleashes a sort of fireball flying into the opponent.

In the japanese language hadoken doesn't really exist, but if you break it down in syllables it makes sense: "ha" = wave "dou" = motion "ken" = punch

Also used in the webcomic 8-Bit Theatre as Black Mage's most powerful spell.

hadoken

Hadoken the japanese word meaning wave or surge often mistaken for fireball. hadoken most famously used in the video game Street fighter by Ryu and ken masters. this technique is 'properly' used in Street fighter II the seires where we she ryu actually summoning the hadoken. he moves his hands in a circular motion one hand moving in both directions. by doing this he releases the energy or Ki or chi from with in him an had the ability to form it into a ball and release it as a shockwave blast.
the ki formed from the hadoken can be used in other ways like Shoryuken (dragon punch) or TatsuMakiSenPuKyaku (hurricane kick)used by both ryu and ken. also more famously characters from dragonball z use the Ki as weapons using it to form Ki balls and use moves like Kamehameha.
