getogethering

Similar to a party a getogethering is the unification of people for the purposes of socialising, conversation, or recreation.

A getogethering can happen anywhere at anytime without any prior preparation or event coordination with people mingling with the sole purpose of catching up and/or to shoot the breeze.

Alcohol is almost always consumed in abundance at a getogethering but it isn't mandatory by any means. It may lead to a debaucherous afternoon or evening where fond new memories are often forgotten the following morning

Frequent places for getogetherings can include but are not limited to bars, nightclubs, restaurants, parks, beaches, and residential houses.

We went to Matt's place for a getogethering in the weekend and it was choice.

After work we had a getogethering and chopped some piss before heading out to into town.

Next summer we're planning a getogethering at our bach, you should come along cos it'll be mint!!sauce.

At the end of our getogethering we went to the taco shop and did a little toe-tapping while waiting for our burritos and tacos to be crafted.
