moral fiber

Moral fiber is the capacity to do what is right, no matter what the circumstance. A business person with strong moral fiber, for example, would decline a bribe, and put his self interests aside for the benefit of the company and its shareholders. A parent with strong moral fiber does whatever it takes to help their kids succeed, even if it means they have to make sacrifices. A person with moral fiber does not do things to intentionally harm others, and when given the opportunity, does things to help the less fortunate.

When Abraham Lincoln pushed to free slaves despite hostility from his own political party, he showed great moral fiber.

Bernie Madoff was severely lacking moral fiber when he took billions from investors.

A parent that would rather drink and get high than pay rent or electric bills has no moral fiber.

A term for the pleasure a knitter or other fiber artist derives from buying, viewing, or being in the general vicinity of their preferred fiber medium (yarn, wool, etc).

Seeing all that beautiful cashmere yarn on sale totally gave me a fiberection .

Pejorative term used in the scientific community to describe an argument lacking in merit. Synonymous with sophistry or, more commonly, bullshit.

Where's the meat to your argument? Sounds like a pretty high fiber explanation to me.

fiberrhea

similar to diarrhea, occurs when one has eaten incredibly large amounts of fiber- far larger than the daily recommended amount- in a day's time and thus experiences excessive defication and gas as a result.

"Dude, are you okay? I heard terrible noises coming from in there."
-"Yeah, I'm fine. I had a ham sandwich on whole wheat, a cheese sandwich on whole wheat flat bread, 4 fiber loaded snack bars, some almonds, and a footlong sub on whole wheat today. It was some epic FIBERRHEA, but I feel awesome now.

Defecating. Typically used by persons in the telecommunications industry. Rolling out fiber usually denotes laying a line of fiber optic cable for voice or data networks.
