A Floridian Death Metal band formed in 1983, originally named Mantas and re-named/re-formed in 1984 as Death. Thought to be the originators of the style (which may have been named after them).

A character which starred in the television series 'Family Guy'.
Appears several times, each to bring about the end of one (or more) of the characters' lives. Hilariously funny, the character of Death has been voiced by Adam Corolla and Norm Macdonald.

"I need to get away....were is my gun?"
"If you ever need to get away, you know who to call."
"It's the vacation of a lifetime, also the end of it."
