Cubby

In a social environment, Cubby is the name of the target prey for cougars and pumas. These older women look for the younger men who's eyes are large and new the world, like a young cub.

A cougar would point out her cub to her friends like this "That guy is my cubby, i am going in for the kill." She would then approach the young, attractive man.

cubby hoe

Usually a non-binary, “baby dyke” or awkward femme woman who regularly attends the legendary lesbian bar Cubby Hole located in the East Village of NYC. Usually very friendly, quirky and knows everyone who also attends regularly. If you end up in a relationship with a Cubby hoe, she is usually very faithful and will introduce you to all her Cubby hoe friends. This kind of girl is very quick to U-haul and fall in love with new girl who comes in to come Cubbyhole for the first time or not so often. Generally she stays there all day or goes only for happy hour. Very willing to stand on line for long periods of time during the busier weekend.
