The state of rest one achieves due to drug use (chiefly smoking marijuana) or sometimes even strenuous labor. While chronned out one is unable to perform tasks that require effort beyond that of procuring snacks, watching movies, gaming, or browsing the web.

Joe: Yo, I'm coming over in like 10 minutes to jam. You gotta play drums.

Dave: I don't know bro. I didn't sleep last night and just took a massive bong hit. I think I'm just gonna chron out and read til I pass out.

Joe: Yeah, I just got outta work and should probably chron out too. We'll do it tomorrow.

Dave: Did you say something?

Someone who is sketchy or skeevy around marijuana and/or rarely pays for it. A chron mongler will seem like they don't want your marijuana but they do.

Jeez that guy is such a chron mongler he always smokes my weed and every time a car drives by he freaks out.
