A South African term for a person who has done something idiotic. Basically another word for a dumbass or a douche

If someone accidently deletes an unsaved photo:
"You're such a chop"

When a guy has a nerdy parting in their hair:

"You look like a chop"

Peter wanted to come along on the training ride, but didn't have the chops to hang with the group.
