Quite possibly the greatest city in the continental USA. In Binghamton it never rains and the sun always shines down upon you. You would be hard pressed to find a day throughout the year where the temperature falls below a serene 70 degrees. Situated in the extravagant Southern Tier of New York Binghamton's location is one of its greatest features. With only an hour drive to Elmira, New York or Scranton, Pennsylvania you simply cannot go wrong. The towns folk in Binghamton show hospitality that even the south cannot compare to, whether it is to cheer you on as you run by their houses or to come into your home and personally take your recyclables, they simply do it all. The only downside to Binghamton is that it puts other cities to shame.
In Binghamton anything is possible if you believe.

Get the Binghamton mug.Bing is one interesting place to live and go to school. First, there are only 3 seasons in Bing not 4. Summer, Winter and Spring. Spring is the shortest season, it only lasts about 1 month. Second, it really isnt a place that you want to raise a family. It rains quite often and the people who are from the area realy dislike th BU students. I find this odd becasue with out BU, although it is hard to beleive, Bing would be even worse off economically. So there are SOME rich kids form Long Island that go to school at BU, BIG DEAL, not every BU student is a stuck up prick. Some are atually nice people who like to spend money in Bing which inturn helps keep the city form crumbling even more then it already is. Bing isnt the worst place to be but it is far from the IDEAL place to be. Townines need to stop whining, BU Students need to have a little more respect and the COPS need to get a life and stop pulling me over fro speeding on 434 when i am going 4 mph over the limit.
Binghamton Weather - go take a look at a weather map for the next 10 days. Make sure it is a view of at least the entire northeast. No matter what time of year it is, on average, there will be a green area of precipatation over the city, but nowhere else for about 50 miles. Itis always raining

I am a senior, and I think on average, there are 2-3 sunny days per semester. And it alternates everyday from rain to snow, so that there is always ice and mud everywhere. Even in the summer, when its in the 90s, i still see damn mud puddles everywhere! Every frickin kid here has a chip on their shoulder that they arent in Cornell, and they wear cornell and ithaca shirts, and go there all the time, like they are trying to delude themselves. Everyone at this school is either a spoiled ass from Long Island, a designer clothes whore asian from queens, a self-seggregating Jew or Christian, or a FOBby Indian engineering major. Oh, and i think there are five or six black people too. Once you leave campus you realize that you are in the most boring place you will ever be, surrounded by rednecks who wear camo all the time, weigh 300 pounds, and look seriously inbred. Looking into their eyes you will see no spark of intellect, and if you notice their mouths, dont expect to find a full set of teeth.

Get the binghamton mug.Binghamton isn't a bad place like all the fucktards from Long Island think it is. I grew up there and think it is a wonderful city in a beautiful valley. It has many art galleries, parks, a museum, and the largest public observatory in the northeast US. The spoiled brats from long island don't like it because its not close enough to drive into Manhattan, and obviously NYC has much more to do than Binghamton, but Manhattan has more to do than pretty much anywhere. So don't bash Binghamton because it has cold winters and you actually have to find something to do instead of having fun force fed to you. If you look in the right place Binghamton can be a fun and enjoyable place to live. So stop complaining and make the most of our cold winters (ie. several ski resorts and a lot of hills for sledding) and keep in mind that it doesnt rain all summer long, and there is plenty of sun while not being too hot.
I hope you actually choose to listen to someone with a brain instead of listening to spoiled assholes and idiots from Long Island who's mommy and daddy are paying for everything and have no idea what the real world is like.

I know for a fact that some of the NYC people that head to BU are COOL GUYS WHO DONT AFRAID OF ANYTHING but the majority are terrible pieces of shit who, because they choose not to accept the local culture, decide to tell the world (that doesn't want to hear it) that Binghamton isn't worth mapping.
