Party Grandad

That one stubborn old boy who refused to grow up and settle down during his life. Known to suffer from memory loss caused by substance and alcohol abuse. Commonly found at the Redoubt bar trying to convince young bucks to take him clubbing in Hamilton.
" Could I get another vodka sprite please" "No Mr. Hutchinson we closed the bar an hour ago the courtesy shuttle will be along soon to take your party grandad ass back to the retirement home"

2020 themed party

Another way of saying “we’re not having a party” because of, you know, the 2020 global pandemic. Also can mean that you aren’t going out and instead will be by yourself in your room on a weekend.

This definition is from Reddit, created by u/jacksparrowpenfan and u/brewtality when asked “ If in 40 years, instead of throwing an 80’s themed party, people threw a 2020’s themed party, what/who would they go as?” in r/AskReddit.
Person 1: "You coming out tonight?"
Person 2: "Nah, throwing a 2020 themed party."
Person 1: "Drinking alone and reading about how to make bread?"
Person 2: "Yup."

Alternatively...
Person 1: What’s the plan for the after party?
Person 2: It’s 2020 themed, bro. My mom paid me a surprise visit this weekend.
Person 1: Damn, we’ll do something next weekend, then.

Jeremy-ing the party

To invite guests to a party either a few minutes before the party is scheduled or a few minutes into the party. The act is often seen as disrespectful by peers who were not invited due to the host Jeremy-ing the party.

It can be used in the past tense as "Jeremy-ed the party" and in the future tense as "will Jeremy the party."
Host: Welcome to the party
Guest 1: Why am I the only one here?
Host: I am going to invite the others in a few minutes
Guest 1: Fam, do not tell me you are Jeremy-ing the party
