The Lucky Charm Effect

The lucky charm effect happens when a certain undesirable object is left behind over a more desirable object till the very end, until the object is forgot about, thrown away, or forced upon someone. Such like picking the lucky charms out of the box, or a dog never being picked at the pound.

Joey: “Man, why can’t we be picked first for once in dodgeball...”
Daniel: “dude, it’s just the lucky charm effect.”

The Harrison Ford Effect

A common phenomenon where a person's most famous artwork, video, movie role, or other creation/appearance in media is incidentally their least favorite, and the person in question inevitably grows to hate said work as it becomes the sole thing they are known for.

The term is named after actor Harrison Ford, who has famously expressed his distaste for the Star Wars franchise after decades of only ever being seen as "the guy who played Han Solo."

A: "John setting his YouTube video to 'private' is just another case of the Harrison Ford effect. He's ready to move on from it."
B: "But it had over a million views!"
A: "That doesn't mean he enjoys hearing about it all the time."

When you assume something or someone is from a certain country because they have something about them which is associated with that country when in reality they are from a different country. It's called the marx effect as many people think he is russian since he invented communism, which they associate with russia even though he was actually german.

The caramelldansen effect is a sub-category of the marx effect.

When people can't help themselves from donating large amounts of money to Mira several days in a row. Sometimes this lasts for weeks or even months. This is called the Mira effect.
The Mira effect affects nearly everyone that watches Mira's streams and is nearly impossible to break free from.
