Person 1: "Man, what's with that guy John? He's always acting like he cares about the conversation. We can tell he's not really paying attention."
Person 2: "Yeah, he's such a pastic."

To point your finger at someone and bare false witness against them. Plastic can be fake, not real, untrue. Humans often point a finger at someone when ratting them out and lying at the same time.

I knew that Mary was lying about Fred when she falsely accused him of the theft, she pointed her “plastic finger” at him and totally lied.

The term 'plastic fan' is a phase that has been coined across the last 15 years or so to describe those people who follow a team without any real affinity to the club in question. An example of this is Matthew Bentley.

Matthew Bentley is a plastic fan because he supports Chelsea although he's never been to a Chelsea home game.

An Irish American who is glorified by the people of Ireland, even though many look down at Irish Americans showing extreme pride and interest in Ireland's history and culture.

If the Irish don't like Irish Americans having intense pride in their land, why is JFK's ancestral home a national monument?

I reversed this term to point out some hypocrisy.

There's an Irish heritage regiment (with plastic paddys) in the US National Guard called the Fighting 69th; its motto: "Gentle when stroked, fierce when provoked." LOL at dirty connotations.
