ford lightning

The Ford Lightning, the second fastest truck in the world (the Dodge Ram SRT-10 is the fastest as we all know). The Lightning is powered by a POS Ford 5.4L motor with a nice Eaton supercharger (God forbid Ford should make something fast without putting a supercharger on top). Lightning's are mainly garbage because they are made by Ford, and because the motor blows out after 70,000 miles. Predominatly owned by rednecks and white trash.

1. My Ford Lightning got whooped on the 1320 by SRT-10.
2. Hot damn! That little SRT-4 Peon just smoked my Ford Lightning!
3. I'm not going to Bitlo, My Ford Lightning will probably only run 14 flat. :o(

a subject that can be used to control someone, as a killswitch for undesirable behavior. it is somewhat synonymous with blackmail, extortion, etc.. derived from the act of tying a Lightening bug (the southern term for Firefly) to a thread, so that it can be jerked around in the air, like a dog on a leash.
