Cam Newton was the most successful Panthers quarterback so far by one season in terms of trips to the playoffs, and in terms of having the best record, and a few other mindless statistics for the people that actually have a desire to measure somebody, but in reality he wasn't the only quarterback to ever be successful in Carolina. Cam Newton was an excellent quarterback while in Carolina, and not everybody would make a successful quarterback.
