FAB from the TV show "Thunderbirds" stood for "Full Acknowledgement of Braodcast." Gerry Anderson, the producer of "Thunderbirds" was known for these obscure catch phrases. In another series "Captain Scarlet" he usied SIG which stood for "Spectrum Is Green" They both meant roughly," ten-four", "I copy" and "roger that."

Short for tea and brandy. The drink was popularized by Yang Wenli, a character from the anime "Legend of the Galactic Heroes" and is made with a cup of tea, an ounce or two of brandy, and sweetened to taste. It is the most warming and relaxing drink known to man.

Plan B

An emergency contraceptive pill (levonorgestrel). When taken within 72 hrs. of sexual intercourse where no other contraceptive was used, or what was used didn't work, Plan B decreases the risk for pregnancy by almost 90%. It's available by prescription, except in California and New Mexico, where it's available OTC. It's different from the abortion pill, which actually causes an early rejection of the embryo, AFTER the woman is already pregnant. Plan B INTERFERES with the process of fertilization, BEFORE it happens. It doesn't protect against STD's though.
