Within the Latin o community, there are certain individuals who are on their own time element, and are usually late to certain events. This can be a complete nuisance, particularly when a specific time event is scheduled (i.e. dinner party, wedding,, baby shower, etc.). Synonymous with being "fashionably late".

No amount of celebration was excessive enough for him/her, and it was never called gloating when he/she did it, but if somebody else did it, it was always called gloating.
