A lady of the night also known as a prostitute or inhabitant of a brothel or cathouse. The term was taken from one of the books in the Steven King "Dark Tower" series.

Like Vivian Ward in "Pretty Woman," the gillee-girl stood on the corner wearing a red tight dress made out of plastic and knee high black stiletto boots.
