Any open-toed footware such as flip flops, shower shoes, or skimpy sandals that involve only sliding one's foot into/on quickly. It is a simple sole that is held in place by means of a single strap, or very dainty strap that slides between the big & second toes. Derived from the belief that the people wearing such shoes are too darn lazy to slip their foot into a real shoe, bend over, & tie some shoe strings.
Ginny thought she was so cool in her lazy shoes until she came running around the corner, one flew off, and she scraped her big toe on the concrete.
