it is a tonga word which mean the rich people in the gwembe valley. these where the people who owned a lot of cattles in the 1930s and at that time there was a transition from them puting their wealth in animals into monetory form. those who had many animals where able to accumulate more money than the poor and were refered to as mardonz

The Marengeti is loaded with deer, turkeys, squirels, and sand hill crains this year.
