He has a statue of Mary in his home, and prays that she intercede with the power of Jesus to help him in his troubles. He also has a Liturgy of the Hours book he prays from when he's off work or riding on the train on long trips to Montreal to visit French Catholic Churches. James is anglo-catholic.
