Originating in the Mid Atlantic region of Dixie the term once of excitement has been replacing the terms of redneck and Hick to mostly represent the kids that hang out at Tractor Supply or Rual King in there muscle cars sqauted trucks and Tractors when there are no bon fires near by.

The louder the "Yee" the more excitement in he or she.
Best chance to hearing this "audible-indicator-of-fun" would by attending your next local Hootenanny or Tractor Pull
Ya cant simply just say "Yee Yee" with a low enthusiasm in their voice, a vast range of decibels and octaves must be met to achieve proper "Yee" Alcoholic beverages can be drank(both legal and illegal spirits) and lifted trucks can be driven and/or wrecked and itll drastically increase the volume of the Yee
