When an insanely famous celebrity reaches their breaking point and does/says something totally absurd while in the spotlight.
This expression stems from the infamous period in 2007 when Britney Spears shaved her head and bashed a paparazzi's car with an umbrella.
Justin Bieber yelled at his fans in concert in Prague for cheering too much. He's having his umbrella moment.
