Sopsy is used to define a specific state between the different levels of drunkenness. It's when you're passed sober, but not quite tipsy.

I drank 2 rum and cokes to get me started, but after half an hour I found I hadn't gotten myself passed sopsy.

Alabama Pit Stop

The act of stopping for gas at a southern convenience store/gas station. Catagorized by the purchase of inexpensive gas station items such as Mexican style candy, sales papers, boiled peanuts, novelty air fresheners, and scratch and win lottery tickets (where available). May also include a trip to the shitter or condom dispenser.

Passenger: Make an Alabama pit stop over at that speedy mart.

Driver: Why?

Passenger: I want to get a can of Skoal and some gummi worms.

rest stop gay

A person who is gay, but lives a double life as a heterosexual. Beyond closeted. The person may be married with kids, etc. but gets the gay love on the sly, in cheap motels, bath houses and rest stops.

I know he's married, but he's gay--rest stop gay--why do you think he's always going on "business trips" to San Fransico.
