Get the zooey shaftmug. The act of receiving negative consequences beyond comprehension. This word originates from a middle school in New Britain, Connecticut, where a young man created an alternative word to getting in trouble. He started this in 1973 and it hasn't lingered around for many years. It is time that this word started to come back to the public. Shafting means when you get in a lot of trouble.
