Presenteeism

A word made up by The Disneyland Resort as a result of poor employee attendance at The Hotels of the Disneyland Resort, and the two Resort Theme Parks, as well as other Resort controlled locations. Presenteeism is defined by The DLR (Disneyland Resort) as "the act of being present." The idea is that all employees are at their work location ready to work at, or 5 minutes before their scheduled start times.

Disney makes up thier own words, like presenteeism.

presence e-mail

sending work e-mails in the middle of the night or after calling out sick to update your boss of projects or issues that you've been working on.

Did you see that presence e-mail from Bill? He sent out an e-mail at 2:30 AM stating that he's still sick and has been working with our ISP on that Internet issue.

Pretential

An older woman who looks as if she would have been attractive when she was younger.

Much like a younger girl may have potential (definition 3) to be attractive when she's older.

Presnet

When searching for "Elvis Presley" on search sites (such as Google), you enter the Presnet. It is similar to the internet, apart from Elvis Presley's ghost rests here.

Person 1: "Hey I was on Google today, and accidentally entered the Presnet. It was horrible."
Person 2: "Well, that's what you get for searching for Elvis Presley on the internet."

Pretentious

Someone who tells you not to think about anything negative in life is pretentious.

The most cynical people in the world preach about hope, optimism, and a positive attitude about everything in life. Hope is what weak, pretentious people cling to when they have nothing left but desperation to overcome anything and anyone left.
