An obsessive fanatic (nerd) who uses gatekeeping to impose a conservative or reactionary agenda within a community (comics, video games, film).

Someone who becomes apprehensive and whiny at any hint of diversity or change in a franchise, labeling it "progressive" or "woke" from a place of resentment.

"I tried to post my theory about the new movie, but a fash-keeper immediately showed up to explain why diversity is 'ruining the lore'."

Main Keeper Syndrome

A zookeeper/animal keeper, animal rights activists, or animal keeper hobbyist, who thinks they are the most exceptional person to care for all living things. Similar to the popular social definition "Main Hero Syndrome (MHS)". Not a clinical definition but forms of narcissistic, racist and sociopathic spectrums are present. Individuals do have the tendency to self proclaime themselves on same tier as famous wildlife conservationist and fictional characters (Ex. Jane Goodall, Steve Irvwin, Mowgli, and Tarzan).

Alex is handling venomous snakes to gain followers on social media...he got main keeper syndrome.
