A person or group of people is said to eat their shit if they abandon all reason when forming a positive opinion.
Phrases using this construction are generally immediately followed by a conjunction and another clause describing the unreasonable or irrational action that is being performed by the subject.
From a logical viewpoint, people who eat their shit seem completely ridiculous. However, upon scientific inspection, it is revealed that eating one's shit is a social phenomenon closely related to, and indeed perhaps the same as, the bandwagon effect, which is well-documented in the field of psychology.

The eat shakes is a common result of over-eating, particularly during competitive eating contests. The symptoms of the "eat shakes" are the following:
- uncontrollable bodily shaking, particularly in the extremities.
- Profuse (usually meat scented) sweating.
- Pruning of the finger tips as a result of over exposure to grease.
The first known use of the term occurred at Eagle's Deli in Brighton, MA. Two sets of siblings were competing with each other in the task of finishing a two pound cheeseburger with two pounds of fries, each. One of the people involved, Mary, was visibly shaking. As a response to the shaking, Scott (an observer) said, "Wow, you've got the eat shakes."

Elevator eating is a date worse then death. The process of making the sickening act of elevator eating starts with two guys, one inside the elevator and the other one stuck in the elevator doors while the guy inside starts eating the other guys ass without consent. But while the guy eating the ass does his thing the one that's stuck gets ripped apart from the elevator moving and dies.
Infact, the cursed act doesn't end until the person that's stuck shits himself after his death and makes the other participant stop.
