Straight Pride Month

Essentially the antithesis to Pride Month, and the embodiment of "If they can have it, why can't I!?" Straight Pride month is a month all about celebrating heterosexuality, and how BRAVE they are for being heterosexual in a world of LGBTQ+. Incidentally, it's also stupid bullshit and probably made by the same kind of people who consider "cracker" to be a slur on the same level as the N-word.

• The transgender pride flag uses pink, blue and white stripes

Straight Pride

When straight cisgender people -- sometimes even allies -- don't understand the reasons behind LGBTQ+ pride and then come to the conclusion that because a highly oppressed minority has a month that they can feel proud of themselves for being themselves, that cishets should too.

"Hey, why isn't there straight pride? I mean, we deserve love too!"
"But everyone knows that you deserve love. Pride is because LGBTQ+ people have been shamed and killed, even today."
