Get the Clean Walksmug. When a messy person engages in a massive binge-cleaning of their living quarters. Like binge drinking, it is excessive and happens only on rare occasions. After the binge-clean, effects of your excess cleaning hang on for a length of time depending on the degree of the binge. Your place looks good enough to invite people over, for maybe a week or two, and then, after that, you either binge-clean again, or meet up with friends at a coffee shop.
