don't push the horses

During their rematch on July 19, 2025, Usyk told Dubois' team, "Don’t push the horses."

He directly translated it from Ukrainian, which is incorrect and makes almost no sense, but it's an euphemism for "Calm down," or "Don’t rush things."
He meant they were getting too confident or trying to act like they'd already won - and he was telling them to chill.

The English version of "Don't push the horses" would be something like "Hold your horses".
Usyk: Let's go, don't push the horses.
Charles: Pardon me?
Usyk: Don't push the horses.

Don't build the evil Nexus

When people are dumb enough to attempt to replicate something horrible in fiction, such as making Squid Game (a show known for its critiques of capitalism and mass killings) or joining Spawnism (a fictional cult made as a message to discourage cult joining).
1: I just built Squid Games!
2: Bro, don't build the Evil Nexus from the book "Don't build the Evil Nexus that kills everyone"

Icecubes don’t melt from the inside

“Icecubes don’t melt from the inside” could be a reminder that most destruction, decay, or transformation begins where we are exposed.

In life, we often think strength comes purely from our inner core — and it does — but even the strongest heart can be worn down by constant exposure to a hostile environment. Pain, doubt, and change usually seep in from the edges: the moments we let our guard down, the small compromises we make, the little lies we tell ourselves.

The melting doesn’t begin because the inside suddenly stops being strong. It begins because the world outside gets warm enough to reach us. The lesson? Protect the edges of your soul. Be mindful of what you surround yourself with, because even ice — clear, cold, solid — will eventually surrender to the temperature of its environment.
Be careful who you surround yourself with, "Icecubes don’t melt from the inside"

Don't Tap the Glass

The greatest album ever made. I ascended the first time I heard it.
"Don't Tap the Glass' is the best piece of art ever made

Don't dog the boys

Am absolutely meaningless word salad used by victims of manipulation when someone breaks free from the cult and starts to call their horrendous actions out
I told my homegirl about her boyfriend's horrendous actions. She believed me but when tried to confront him, everyone just told me "don't dog the boys". Don't ask me what the fuck that's supposed to mean but, while we're here, let's make it clear that group wanking in the Hungry Jack's bathroom does not count as employment!!!
