The act of posting excessively to social media in the wake of a recent breakup in order to catch the attention of the ex and/or potential suitors. It also announces one's return to a wider social community.
The posts do not declare one's relationship status, but are instead cryptic--containing hidden meanings, decipherable only to select audiences.
A "thirst trap" is only one of the most general and common examples.

Shawn: Did you see Jeremy's Insta story??
Christine: Yeah, he never posted when he was dating Margot...
Shawn: The death of the couple inaugurates the birth of the individual. He's totally single-posting.

The term originates from latin roots meaning "after drinking". This phenomenon often occurs the morning after a night of drinking, but it is unlike a hangover in that people are typically playful and possibly feel like they're still happily drunk. Symptoms may include episodes of excessive laughter, moderate to high stupidity, directional challenges, goofy mannerisms, eccentric thoughts and ideas, as well as feeling light and euphoric. A post-biben done well could and should last the remaining duration of the day.
"are you on something? why are you acting so silly?"
"nah, bro.. it's just a post-biben"
"it is so annoying that she has post-bibens when we all have hangovers"
"i know right, she laughs at weird things and is so happy and energetic."

I put a post on my Face Book wall and Mary copied and pasted it to her wall as her own post! Mary is a "Post Thief"!

To call someone "deaf as a post" is a way of expressing that you are annoyed with someone who is NOT deaf but somehow didn't manage to hear what you were saying to them
Guy: I told my boss that I couldn't make it to the meeting but he rang me and asked me where I was. I swear the man is as deaf as a post

It's like schizo-posting only you're based instead of schizophrenic like the other people who whisper to you when you're alone at night.
My friends keep telling me I'm schizo-posting, but the vans that keep driving away in my periphery are whispering whenever I pick up the phone that I'm actually super based and I'm just based-posting.

When someone updates their status on facebook with cryptic messages so that others will comment. Usually because they're an attention whore.
"OMG, I can't believe that just happened" would be Half Post of "OMG, I can't believe I really don't have anything important to say, so I'm going to pretend something dramatic is happening to me, so people will pay attention to me and I will feel loved."
whereas your supposed to respond "Are you alright?" (As if you really care, and the only reason you are really asking, is because you feel sorry for them.)
As mention on Keith and the Girl.
