Calling someone a scut suggests they’re not only out of touch but also lack the common sense or social intelligence expected in everyday life, essentially lumping them in with the “dumb” crowd, no matter how many books they read.

Will is not just awkward, he’s a total scut. You know, the kind of dumb, lifeless deadweight nobody wants around.
