Ed Tech

Educational Technology is used in pedagogy to engage students interactively. Ed Tech is also considered to be a primary technology to help "Close the Gap" in education. The demand for mobile devices and their applications are lowering the price of access to technology. Cloud applications and the reduction in cost should enable more access to education through technology.

Now that our local school district has embraced ed tech, the elementary schools are receiving WiFi.

She is getting a masters in ed tech so she can facilitate the communities GED program.

Thanks to ed tech, he can take classes online while working full time to help support his mom and younger sisters.

Windows Tech Support

Some Indian guy asking for your PC information because there's a "virus on it." Generally this is a scam trying to get personal and sensitive information. They usually use a white person name.

Indian Guy: "Hello, thank you for calling in Windows tech support, my name is James, how may I help you?"
Me: "Nice try, your name is Ker-shit." *Hangs up*

Eastertimes Tech X-08 LED Gaming Mouse Mice

You know how you would go play video games at your friend’s house as a kid, and he would let you be player 2 with his second crummy, off-brand, doesn’t-work-right controller? When you lost, you’d complain that it was all the controller’s fault, and half the time you’d be right. This mouse is like that. There is a place for cheap equipment intended for low-precision day-to-day work. A $15 mouse doesn't need to perform like a $150 mouse. But it still needs to get the job done. And Easterntimes Tech's offering here fails at that. I can’t fathom why this mouse is earning positive ratings on Amazon, except that it does indeed function and it’s super cheap. But what good is a cheap gaming mouse that sucks all the joy out of gaming? If you simply must have a wireless mouse and need to save money, you can buy a Logitech G602 for about $40 now, and while it doesn’t compare favorably to a $100+ gaming mouse, at least you won’t feel like throwing it across the room.
