When someone gets information off your Facebook status and tells someone else the said information.

Natalie says to John, "I got some good status gossip. I hear your girlfriend wants to meet Julie."

John - "How did you know that?"

Natalie - "I read it on Julie's Facebook status."

I am changing my profile back to "worm status" as I was getting too many annoying sidebar ads for dating sites.

A new way to express a current status of relaxation. Any status can be expressed by replacing the first word with an adjective.

jonny: "dang dude that was some good stuff"

chris: "Blown status!"

Jonny: "dude, lets go to a rave!"

when too many people comment on a user's facebook status, resulting in multiple conversations with multiple groups of people.

although status orgies are occasionally funny, they result in an annoying overload of notifications for everyone involved.

example #1:
after 36 comments, the post was declared a status orgy

John: "whoa, 26 notifications?"
Jane: "that's just some status orgy I was in"

Status Delay

Occurs when a person has posted a new status on facebook but suddenly realizes or finds something else that they want as their status but delays a few hours to post it so that people won't get angry that he or she is filling up their newsfeed.

After posting a unique quote on facebook, Robert suddenly realized that he wanted to also post a video from youtube as well but status delayed for a few hours before doing so.
