Get the Ratchet mug.Ratchet is a giant sentient alien robot from the planet Cybertron. He was introduced in Generation 1 (1984), and was originally going to be a female. He is a medic, and named after Nurse Ratched.
In the fandom, he is known for having a grouchy attitude and also throws either a scanner or tool (usually a wrench) when pissed. Tends to curse quite a lot as well.
This grouchy attitude becomes cannon in Transformers Animated, and makes a return in Transformers Prime.
He is usually red/rust orange and white with blue eyes, though the exception being the Micheal Bay movies in which he is a lime yellow/lime green (fans still fight over this)
He always takes the form of an ambulance, the only exception being the Micheal Bay movies in which he is a hummer. (Though seems to be modified to be some form of an ambulance)
