Boofa Du

When two people care a lot about each other, but aren't ready, or don't feel strong enough to declare that they "love" each other, they can declare they boofa du as an alternative but less strongly insulated statement. It still expresses the deep attachment and bond that two people hold, and that the two mean a lot to each other, just not to the extent of declaring "love" to someone.

"Baby I think I'm ready to say the magic words!"

"I-I love you?!?"

"No silly, Boofa Du baby, I'm not ready for that, but I'm still really attracted to you."

Emma Du is my fav person on this planet. She is super kind, and I love her so much! 💘Her Friends include Olivia X, Lucy, and Anu G. Today I was going through her Insta, and I found lots of photos, with her and her friends from her old school. She is the kind of girl who is always laughing, smiling, and makes everyone around her happy. She never means for anyone to be sad, but when she makes someone sad, she takes a while to realise. After she realises, she will quickly make up. I was lucky to have Emma as my close friend! Thanks for always being kind, and nice, and figuring out when someone needs u.
