astereotypical nerd

Someone who fits the nerd description in that the person in question is socially inept and has obscure interests, however he/she does not have the typical nerd appearance. Instead, he/she is fairly attractive and doesn't scream nerd right away.

-You see that girl over there?
-Yeah, she's hot!
-She's also the owner of the most popular Star Wars RPG online.
-Wow... talk about your astereotypical nerd!

Genre Nerd

Someone who, when discussing their musical tastes, proceeds to list an unbelievably large amount of genres. Usually common with any type of Metal fans.

Person 1: "So what kind of music do you listen to?"

Person 2: "Well, i really like Black Metal, Death Metal, Thrash Metal, Grindcore, Hardcore, Progressive Metal, Folk Metal..."

Person 1:(Jeez, what a Genre Nerd...)

Nerd

Being a nerd, I know exactly what I want to say. I have 10 statements:
1. Geeks are wanna-be nerds.
2. Nerds can be very preppy.
3. Nerds have fun, most of the time. 4. Nerds can be very popular.
5. Most nerds have a social life.
6. Most nerds get very good grades.
7. Not all nerds wear glasses. If you wear glasses, you're not always considered a nerd.
8. Most nerds don't spend their entire life on the computer. They actually have a life.
9. Those of you who are making fun of nerds.....go ahead. We don't care.
10. A nerd is probably going to be the one who drastically changes the structure of the world.

So there. 10 things you might have not known about nerds.

nerd rage

Nerd Rage: The phenomenon in which a typical "nerd" becomes so enraged, that rational thought quickly decreases, but strength output is significantly increased as if being channeled. The period is short lived, but can end up causing serious damage, especially if the "nerd" has a short-fused temper.

Person 1: Haha, you are teh sucksorz.
Person 2 (Nerd): ARGGHHHHH!
Person 1: Oh shit! He's got nerd rage!

Nerd

You are not a nerd unless:
- You are obsessed with computers and know their functions
- You find pleasure in reading books that are very conceptual and difficult to comprehend
- You are rejected by society
- You are antisocial, though, when it's your turn to speak, you sound like the smartest one in the room
- You wear glasses (Usually)
- If you are still in school, you are underestimated by everyone, even if your GPA exceeds a 3.5 (W)
- If you are an adult, you are making well over 6 figures, if not 7 or 8+, and you proved evryone wrong
- Your IQ exceeds your weight
- You do not give a crap about impressing girls/boys
- You are not interested in having a relationship
- You could care less about what you wear everyday
- You have a very strong photographic memory
- Your artwork is unbelievably incredible
- You outsmart/outsmarted your teachers at least 10 times throughout your school days
- You are a perfectionist, though, you are incredibly fast when finishing school work
- You don't necessarily get good grades, though, you are highly career oriented (If still in school)
- You stay away from popular trends (I.E. celebrity news; a new fashion brand; etc.)
If you meet all or most of these requirements, you deserve to be considered a nerd.

Everyone made fun of that nerd who sat next to me in physics class 20 years ago, now, he's a billionaire, and I work for his ass.
