Mid-youth crisis 

A Millennial phenomenon in which a young adult, usually 25, who has yet to establish a career is in an odd position where they realize they turn 40 in 15 years. Individuals experiencing such a crisis are often out of college with a B.A. in the Arts and Sciences, work retail, and ruminate over the missed opportunities of youth and the crippling fear of growing old. They are compelled to find a meaning in their life, but become overwhelmed by knowing that no matter what they do, they are robbing themselves of valuable time to do something else. Because of this, they often choose to do nothing but entertain themselves by binge watching Netflix shows on their parents' account. They have little concern for the importance of money as they live in their childhood bedrooms rent-free.

Abdul, who chose a career in STEM with the knowledge that he would be kicked out of his parents' house, is not experiencing the mid-youth crisis of Jody, who's main concern is not learning the guitar he bought when he was sixteen nine years later.

Somewhat of an improvement from the early 2010s. Some notable improvements include awful brostep dying out, memes becoming somewhat funny again, and the new generation of games consoles releasing.

The mid-2010s lasted from 2013 to 2016.

mid-degree-crisis

(a) The sudden realization that you have absolutely no idea what you want to major in for the next two years of your 4 year college career.
(b) The sudden realization that a degree in humanities is applicable everywhere yet nowhere at the same time.
(c) The period of confusion around the time when a declaration of major is required to continue lessons at an educational facility
(d) The period spent before a declaration deadline questioning the future of one's life, usually brought on by a call by an expectant parent.

Alex: "Hey this party is kickn', where's the homeboy chad?"
Cletus:"He just got his first call about post college careers from his mom. To say the least he's either sitting this night out or PTFO already"

Where you start running but soon realise you can't run as far as you think so you quickly slow back down to a walk and forget about running at all.

Mid-shittance 

When someone tries to talk to you or distract you in some form or fashion while you are trying to "drop the kids off at the pool."

An interruption in one of mankind's most important rituals, taking a massive dump.

My wife always wants to ask me what I think about her dress and interrupt me mid-shittance.

My phone won't stop ringing. It keeps going off mid-shittance.
