1.Abercrombie and Fitch is a name brand clothing company that brings quality, fashionable clothing to teenagers and young adults. People who wear abercrombie like a more fitted shirt combined with quality and style not paralleled by, lets say, walmart clothes. Abercrombie is misleading catagorized as a preppy clothing style, when infact, you dont have to be prep or look prep while wearing their product. Abercrombie is a more pricey clothing company, but compared to what? Abercrombie clothes are priced in the moderate range, compared to walmart priced in the low range, and companies such of hurley and lucky brand (ironicly stereotyped as poor skater boy clothing) is priced in the high range. An average pair of abercrombie jeans are $59, while the average pair of lucky brand jeans are $79, and levi jeans at $29.

A poser prep store that once upon a time was actually considered preppy for older businessmen. Now flooded with less than quality clothing usually giving off bad messages it is designed for those who want to climb the social ladder to official prep but just don't know the right way how. Located in most malls it may be considered overpriced, but actual prep clothes cannot be found in generic malls unless located in SAKS 5th AVE or NEIMAN MARCUS that have entire sections dedicated to acessories such as Chanel or Minolos.

The new freshman at Trinity are Abercrombie zombies mini skirts and torn pastel polos, hope they get the message soon

ABERCROMBIE AND FITCH 

I really don't understand why everyone is calling those people who shop at ABERCROMBIE AND FITCH "preps", when in reality those people are the farthest thing from it. A prep is someone who comes from an even moderately wealthy family, goes to places like Sak's Fifth and Nordstrom's to buy their clothing, and vacation to places like the Ritz-Carlton in Half-Moon Bay. Real preps are the people who enjoy life's little pleasures, like playing tennis and lacrosse, drinking iced beverages while eating cucumber sandwiches, not people who go to stores in the "mall" with obscene ads and annoyingly loud music. Anyone who goes to ABERCROMBIE AND FITCH, purchases apparel from there, and then wears it and claims that it's helping them lead a preppy lifestyle, is a fake. If you really want to be considered a prep, and aren't even satisfied with the family and income that you have, start shopping at places like Neiman Marcus, drink tea, and for god sake, play tennis or something.

NORDSTROM sells brands that truly preppy people wear, like the classics; Lacoste, Polo by Ralph Lauren, and Burberry. Fakes who like underpriced crap can go to ABERCROMBIE AND FITCH, but will never realize that they'll never really be a true prep.
