When someone takes umbrage when some one brings up a {social justice} issue in a way that reminds you of an old racist dad. Someone using words with latent homophobic undertones, racistmicro aggression}s or over the top negative stereotypes of racial or national identities. Usually dad style is delivered in an indignant, self serving and condescending way.

A complete douche bag that gets the news of his ex girlfriend who he once said meant the world to them pregnant, runs like a track star once they realize they have a responsibility they have to take care; chooses with a clear mind to date their ex and not being involved in the unborn child being at all.

(v.) to eat other people's leftovers after having your own meal, by embodying the spirit of a paternal figure and eating more food than you normally would to avoid wasting said food.
This behavior is most often displayed by a dad at a restaurant when other family members have food left on their plate, but also extends to the average weeknight dinner table, snacks, ingredients for a meal, or beverages. This behavior is not solely limited to dads either, and may be exhibited by any person regardless of gender, orientation, or current number of children.

c) "I can't finish my beer. Do you want to dad up on it?" "Sure, but let me finish mine first."
