When you stream a media (eg. a YouTube video), you're grabbing the the video-file from a database as long as the video is. (it's also called live streaming)

Often when people say, they'll stream a movie/series etc. it means, that they'll watch it for free through sites like YouTube (just with a shit ton of porno advertisement).

Person 1: Have you watched the new movie?
Person 2: Yeah.
Person 1: But it wasn't even in the cinema here??
Person 2: I just streamed it. The quality is shit, but the movie was great.

Someone who watches e-sports online and leaves ridiculous comments on the stream. These comments range from sexist and/or racist comments to self-aggrandizement. These people are often looked down upon for talking trash but never actually participating in e-sports tournaments.

What you say when someone talks for so long that you stop paying attention. Often occurs during boring class lectures. The term comes from the action of using a computer to play music straight off the internet or other source without downloading it to the hard drive.

Dude 1: "Man, that Biology class was so boring"

Dude 2: "I know. The professor was just streaming audio."
