you see an attractive woman & say "duty rack" your friends look around & see her. its a way of saying "check her out"
in public without everyone knowing really what your saying.

clearance rack

The group of single folks, typically in their 30's, who go to singles groups or dating schemes for the purpose of trying to find men (or women). Since they've probably been dumped several times and are desperate to sell, they are known as the clearance rack.

Jamie goes to a bunch of speed-dating nights each week - she's definitely on the clearance rack.

To lose one's mind, go crazy, insane, batshit psycho. Usually caused by lack of sleep, hyperactivity, sugar or plain ol' weirdness.

Erma has gone completely off the rack. We need to put her in a straightjacket and lock her in a glass box at a museum for the psychologically insane so that everyone can witness the true heights weirdness can attain.

Euphemism for having sex. The expression came about because the sound made while nailing a towel rack sounds a lot like the sound of a headboard banging against the wall during sex. Also, see "nail."
