Political neutrality

1: A political identity where an individual chooses not to support a particular political party. It is important to be careful not to confuse this with being apolitical.
2: A situation where an individual chooses not to take a stance on a political issue, or they decide to establish their own unique political view on that issue that is not being held by any major political party, for any reason. Some people believe this can be a source of privilege, but that depends on what they did, what the issue was, and why they did it.
Practicing political neutrality can allow an individual to have a wider array of options when attempting to address a variety of different issues; as well as ensure that needs and desires of the people are being handled adequately. (To help you understand the GIF I chose for this, imagine the ball is a certain political issue the government would like to address, the two dogs fighting over the ball are the mainstream political parties clashing over which of their solutions will best address the issue, the dog who backed away represents an individual who has chosen not take a stance on that issue, and the dog who stuck their head in between the two dogs heads represents an individual who has made their own unique view on that issue because they don't agree with the views held by either of the political parties fighting over the ball.)

Political Prostitute

One who's beliefs align with one political party but sell out and votes for another party based on the sole reason of "they won't win"
Look over there Jimmy. That guy is a political prostitute because he sold himself out and voted for another party he didn't agree with just because he thought they could win.

Political Greeting

When you bump into a friend of a friend, or an ex, or your mates girlfriend your not that keen on and you have to say hello and pretend to have a brief conversation with them otherwise you look bad.
Bob: I bumped into Lucy the other day, she's so annoying but she's going out with my house mate at the moment so I just gave her the old political greeting and moved on.

In polite society

Exactly what it means, I.e. being in the company of, or surrounded by, people who know what decorum and social rules are.
Being in polite society is wetter than an otters pocket if the people in said polite society don't follow their own decorum and social rules.

germ-polite

Being germ-polite is when you do not sneeze or cough all over someone next to you when you are full of flu or cold germs. Nor do you sneeze or cough into your hand and then shake someone else's hand. Neither is your house germ-polite if you allow your cat to walk over the kitchen surfaces or the dining room table without then wiping them clean. Nor are you germ-polite if you stroke your cat or dog or other pet and then, without first washing your hands, you touch food that other people are going to eat.
Crikey - I hate going to eat at that person's house - it's not germ-polite. They let that horrible, dribbly cat of theirs walk all over their kitchen work surfaces. And no I am not a paranoid-android I just don't like people sharing their germs with me!
