Bird Nerd

A person who, without hesitation, attempts to impress those around him with his vast understanding and identificatin skills of birds. This person usually doesn't understand that these attemps actually make him appear even nerdier to those around him.

This person prefers to go birding rather than watch the game.

Sarah: Oh wow, that was a beautiful bird that just flew by

John: Yeah, I wonder what it was..

Mike: Well I didn't see it, but judging by your reaction it was likely a great tufted pine sparrow, male of course. It was probably foraging for honeysuckle berries, its sole food source.

Sarah: Oh....(not impressed)

John: Mike, your such a bird nerd!

Stephen: Hey Jeff, are you coming to the party later?

Jeff: Nah, I'm gunna stay in tonite

Stephen: Why? Its gunna be a great party

Jeff: I'm not gunna miss the peak of the Bohemian Waxwing migration at sunrise. I mean, its only the biggest birding day of the year, duh.

Stephen: Oh, I forgot (and don't care).....do you realize your are a huge bird nerd?

choir nerd

A member of a choir, or show choir, that is extremely obsessed with it. These people tend to sing non-stop, do the choir's vocal warm ups when they are bored, know every part (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass, etc.) to a song, and prove that they know everyone's part by singing it all the time.
When a group of choir nerds is at a competition, or on a field trip of some sort, you can usually spot them trying to sing every song from every Disney movie or musical imaginable. They are seldom on pitch when doing so, and seem to have A.D.D. when singing. They get past a few bars of music, and then they get bored and look for another song.

Ryan: Hey na-ne-ding-dong, ya lang-yalang-a-lang
Mark: Boop sha do, ya-tatatatatata
Rachel: MARK! RYAN! You are SUCH choir nerds!

Computer Nerd

Somebody who knows more than the speaker about computers, who by implication has no social skills although this bares no relation to the likelihood of the term being used. Not to be confused with players of online role playing games, who are more accurately known as twats, most computer nerds are male and work in a different company department from the speaker.

Someone who is completely obssessed in World of Warcraft, so much so they care more about their fictional character than the real world, and devote hundreds and hundreds of hours to it.

Ben and Arron are so obssessed in World of Warcraft, that one of them always has to be playing their character while the other is doing something else.
