A dark persona whom represents man's lust for power, money, and respect. Modern day artists often depict The Score as a man with a top hat, who lurks in the shadows of area casinos.

A phrase added at the end of a meaningless story that has no true end. Often used on the fly when telling a story and the listeners start to loose interest.

It does not make the story more interesting or worthwhile, just provides a suitable ending point...

I was running yesterday and I saw this dog in the park and he had this really big head. Then I stoped at Quicky Mart and has a giant coke. I saw Bob and he told me about the concert next weekend so we went and got tickets. Later that girl from the gym called to tell me i left my watch at the counter, so I ran by and picked it up... and then we went to the book store and bought some books...

The ability to recognize and communicate something being out of whack or off balance.

When your boss is trying to get you to do something outside of your job description and they are not paying you for the additional work... you should reply...
"Look (insert boss' name here) - I know the score. I know what's what. I'm not doing that TPS report unless you either a) pay me more, or b) lick my asshole first, literally... get down there and lick my asshole and recognize what it feels like to be scum... ok? good talk. let me get back to what I was doing before you interrupted."

Used in a sentence:
"Eh... they can ask all they want... I'm not working late tomorrow night. They know the score... I don't need to tell them."

when you go to the shore, mainly said if you live in northern jersey. if you actually live dts, then you just say "im going to the shore", because your already down there.
(it is not called the beach)
